On July 30, 2019, it was reported that a sequel titled Garfield Kart: Furious Racing. Main Article: Garfield Kart: Furious Racing Hardcore Gamer gave Garfield Kart a rating of 1.5 criticizing the game as "absoluteley dreadful" Nintendo Life, gave Garfield Kart 3/10 by describing it as "a bland, horribly un-balanced Kart game". However, it received mostly positive reviews from users, most likely due to the game became an internet meme. Garfield Kart received mostly negative reviews from critics due to what they called unimaginative gameplay, low production value, and poorly designed mechanics. Each cup contains 4 tracks, for 16 in total, the Lasagna Cup is free, while the Pizza Cup is free in 50cc, but in 100cc and 150cc, the player has to unlock the cups, or pay to try them using in-game coins. There is also a sercret Ice Cream Cup, which is unlocked by completing the other 3 cups in 150cc difficulty. There are 3 cups to choose from, the Lasagna Cup, Pizza Cup, and Hamburger Cup. There are also daily challenges the player can complete, which will give them options to customize their vechile.
